The Sleipner Side-Power SEP80/185T-1IP is a premium 12V proportional tunnel thruster engineered for boats from 35 to 48 feet, delivering a dependable 80 kg (176 lbs) of lateral thrust. Unlike standard on-off thrusters that blast at 100% power every time, this S-Link™ Proportional unit allows you to gently dial in power via a throttle joystick, providing whisper-quiet, pinpoint control over your bow or stern.
The IP (Ignition Protected) rating means the electric motor is hermetically sealed inside a specialized composite housing. This configuration safely contains any internal electrical sparks, making it legally compliant and completely safe for installation in gasoline engine compartments, fuel tank lockers, or highly humid, damp bilge spaces where standard electric motors would rust or pose a safety hazard.
