The Karver KRS25 Reefing Furler Complete Kit is a manual reefing furler designed for sailboats from 30 to 36 feet (9 to 10.5 meters) with sails up to 45 m². Built for easy installation and operation, the KRS25 combines a compact design with robust construction and a comprehensive set of integrated features.
The KRS25 accepts stays from 8 mm to 10 mm and is supplied with 12 meters of profiles, consisting of six 2-meter sections, along with short plates and a Ø12 mm chainplate pin.

The KRS25 uses high-strength 6082T6 aluminum profiles engineered for high torsion resistance. Reinforced profile junctions provide additional structural support, while the double-bearing swivel and maintenance-free drum are designed for reliable long-term operation.
The black profiles feature hard anodizing for a thicker protective surface and a streamlined appearance. Material insulation also helps protect the system against corrosion.

A wide drum helps reduce the effort required for furling, while the sail can be secured using the included soft shackle or a stainless steel shackle.
The KRS25 features a compact drum and swivel design with reduced weight. Each component is designed to allow flush deck installation, helping optimize available sail surfaces.

A low-friction ring still produces more friction than a bearing block. For applications involving a large amount of rope retrieval under high loads, a bearing block is recommended instead.
Friction rings are suitable for rope deviations of up to 25°. Depending on the application, open rings (KRO) or titanium rings (KRTi) may be more suitable.
