The Karver KRS20 Reefing Furler Complete Kit is a manual reefing furler designed for sailboats from 23 to 30 feet (7 to 9 meters) with sails up to 30 m². Built for reliable performance, easy handling, and straightforward installation, the KRS20 combines a compact design with robust components engineered for high torsion resistance.
The KRS20 accepts stays from 6 mm to 7.5 mm and comes complete with 10 meters of profiles, supplied as five 2-meter sections, along with short plates and a Ø10 mm chainplate pin.

The KRS20 is engineered with high-strength 6082T6 aluminum profiles and reinforced profile junctions for increased torsion resistance. The system uses a double-bearing swivel and maintenance-free drum, while material insulation helps reduce corrosion-related concerns.
The black profiles feature hard anodizing designed to provide a thicker protective surface while contributing to the furler's streamlined appearance.
Easy Operation
The KRS20 features a wide drum designed to reduce the effort required for furling. The sail can be attached using the included soft shackle or a stainless steel shackle.
Its compact drum and swivel are designed to minimize overall system weight and allow installation flush with the deck, helping optimize available sail surface.

For rope-routing applications, a low-friction ring generally creates more friction than a bearing block. Where there is a significant amount of rope to retrieve under high loads, a bearing block is recommended instead.
Friction rings are suitable for rope deviations of up to 25°. Depending on the application, open rings or titanium rings may be more appropriate.
