DATREX Fibrelight Man Over Board (MOB) Recovery Cradle
The Fibrelight Cradle is a versatile Man Overboard (MOB) Recovery Device that fits various vessel types and sizes. Operable by a single crewmember, it serves as a boarding ladder, scramble net, and stretcher. It's lightweight, compact, cost-effective, and requires minimal maintenance with no annual servicing.
Designed for rescue craft, rigid inflatables, lifeboats, and marinas, the cradle is widely used across different vessels and industries. Its parbuckling action allows a casualty to be safely hauled aboard by securing one end of the cradle to the craft and pulling them in rung by rung.
Standard sizes are 1.3m wide and up to 15m long, with bespoke options available. Constructed with carbon fibre rods and strong tubular webbing, it withstands rigorous strength tests and is approved for durability against thermal aging, weathering, UV light, and oil resistance.
Please note: Each net must be submerged into the water by 1 to 1.5 meters (3.2 -5 feet) to be fully functional and to meet “retrieval of persons in the water” according to the new SOLAS Standards.
