Designed for maximum wearability and buoyancy in offshore and rough waters where rescue may be delayed, the Datrex 400RT and 401RT offer a minimum buoyancy of 24 lbs. and can turn an unconscious person from face down in the water to a vertical or slightly backward position. The polyethylene foam used in construction provides maximum flotation and will not lose buoyancy if cut or punctured.
Additionally, sewn-on SOLAS retro-reflective tape meets or exceeds all requirements for commercial vessels carrying passengers for hire, ensuring maximum visibility and safety. The Datrex 400RT and 401RT are the safest and most comfortable Type I PFDs available and are highly recommended for offshore use.
