Victron Multi RS Solar 48/6000 Inverter/Charger [PMR482602020]
The Multi RS Solar 48/6000 is a 48V 6kVA inverter/charger with two independent 3kWp PV 450V MPPT trackers for 6kWp total panel capacity. It supports direct grid connection without batteries—perfect for starting simple and adding storage later.
Updated in mid-2023 to a dual tracker design, its high-frequency technology delivers exceptional efficiency in a quiet, lightweight package with low standby power. Monitor all parameters via the integrated display or the VictronConnect app, which also provides historical trends, firmware updates, and configuration tools. Connect to a Cerbo GX for advanced ESS functions, like zero-export to block grid feed-in and backup mode to power critical loads during outages.
Operating Modes:
- Hybrid mode – Stores excess solar energy in a battery, to be used during the night or periods of high demand. Supplies additional power from the battery when demand exceeds grid capacity.
- Backup mode – Switches to backup mode during a grid outage.
- Off-grid mode – Operates without a grid connection.
- Generator mode – Controls the generator to minimize run hours. Supplies additional power from the battery when demand exceeds the capacity of the generator.
- PV Inverter mode – Works as a PV inverter without a battery.
PowerControl & PowerAssist - Boosting the capacity of the grid or a generator
A maximum grid or generator current can be set. The Multi RS will then take account of other AC loads and use whatever is extra for battery charging, thus preventing the generator or grid from being overloaded (PowerControl function).
PowerAssist takes the principle of PowerControl to a further dimension. Where peak power is so often required only for a limited period, the Multi RS will compensate insufficient generator or grid power with power from the battery. When the load reduces, the spare power is used to recharge the battery.
Display, Bluetooth & VictronConnect app
The display reads battery, inverter and solar parameters. The same parameters can be accessed with a smartphone or other Bluetooth enabled device , using the VictronConnect app.
Extendable PV capacity, both AC -coupled & DC -coupled
The integrated 6 kWp PV capacity can be extended by adding solar chargers to the system. Alternatively, the PV capacity can be extended by installing PV Inverters, of which the output power will be automatically controlled by the integrated frequency shift power control.
Communication Ports
VE.Can connection to a GX device for system monitoring, energy meter (11), data logging, and remote firmware updates.
VE.Direct connection to a GlobalLink 520 for remote data monitoring.

Victron BMV-700H High Voltage Battery Monitor (60-385VDC) [BAM010700100]
BMV-700H High Voltage Battery Monitor (60-385VDC)
The BMV-700H is a high-precision battery monitor that has been specially designed for systems with a high battery voltage ranging from 60 to 385 volts.
These battery monitors calculate the state of charge of a battery and keep track of the ampere-hours consumed from the battery by integrating the current flowing in or out of the battery.
They both come with a round head unit, a square bezel overlay, a screw ring for mounting, a 10m UTP RJ12 cable, a fused power supply cable, and a 500 A/50 mV shunt. Because of the high voltage application, the shunt is housed in a special enclosure.
Battery ‘fuel gauge’, time-to-go indicator, and much more
The remaining battery capacity depends on the ampere-hours consumed, discharge current, temperature, and the age of the battery. Complex software algorithms are needed to take all these variables into account.
Next to the basic display options, such as voltage, current, and ampere-hours consumed, the BMV-700 series also displays the state of charge, time to go, and power consumption in Watts.
Easy to Install
All electrical connections are to the quick-connect PCB on the current shunt. The shunt connects to the monitor with a standard RJ12 telephone cable. Included: RJ12 cable (10m) and battery cable with fuse (2m); No other components are needed.
Also included is a separate front bezel for a square or round display appearance and a securing ring for the rear mounting and screws for the front mounting.
BMV-700H: 60 to 385 VDC Voltage Range
No additional parts are needed. Note: This is suitable for systems with grounded negative only (the battery monitor is not isolated from the shunt).
Features:
- Battery voltage, current, power, ampere-hours consumed, and state of charge
- Remaining time at the current rate of discharge
- Programmable visual and audible alarm
- Programmable relay, to turn off noncritical loads or run a generator when needed
- 500 Amp quick connect shunt and connection kit
