Recreational users, on the other hand, will be impressed by the advanced integration available with the acclaimed NavNet 3D and TZtouch MFDs. The FURUNO DRS (Digital Radar Sensors) that are on the NavNet network can be fully integrated with TIMEZERO software, enabling the display, control, and overlay of the radar from within the software.

TIMEZERO software connects to the NavNet network and receives navigation data directly from the network. Combining the NavNet and TIMEZERO software systems results in an extremely fast and user-friendly solution.

Features:

When the FURUNO Radar Plus Pack is added to your TIMEZERO software, a range of functionalities is unlocked between your FURUNO radar or MFD and the software.

TIMEZERO navigation software can be connected to a Furuno NavNet3D or TZtouch network, allowing full control of the DRS radars (with an MFD present on the network). This means that you can display the radar image directly in TIMEZERO software, enjoy full control of the software from your software, and overlay the radar image on your charts. Radar overlay is an effective safety tool that allows you to understand your surroundings about your current position.

When TIMEZERO is connected to a NavNet3D network, the following capabilities are enabled:

• Reception of all navigation information (Position, COG/SOG, Heading, Wind, AIS, etc.) from the NavNet3D Network
• Real-Time synchronization of the Active Route among the PC and every NavNet3D MFD display on the network
• Exchange Routes and Waypoints from the PC to NavNet3D MFD(s) over the network
• Share charts between the NavNet3D and TIMEZERO software
• Enable the Chart Server for the NavNet3D MFD(s)
• View and control the DRS Radar (*)

When TIMEZERO is connected to a NavNet TZtouch network, the following capabilities are enabled:

• Reception of all navigation information (Position, COG/SOG, Heading, Wind, AIS, etc.) from the NavNet TZtouch Network
• Real-Time synchronization of the Active Route between the PC and every TZtouch MFD display on the networkShare charts between the NavNet3D and TIMEZERO software

Our new technology assures the security of a route upon creation: Through color codes (green/red), it is instantaneously possible to know if the depth is sufficient for the safe passing of your boat. An automatic route wizard will provide you with information regarding the optimal departure and arrival time, taking into account tides and currents.

AIS Features

The configuration of AIS can sometimes prove to be complex. Our new AIS module allows for complete configuration of all information directly within TZ Professional (Status, Destination, etc.). Furthermore, it is now possible to receive and send AIS text messages from TZ Professional. This system will allow for simplified communication, free and individual, with all boats that are equipped with AIS.

Security Cone

The new security cone is a feature in adherence with the official rules of the IMO. It takes into account the information of vector charts in order to detect isolated dangers and shallow areas. If an obstacle is detected inside this cone in front of the boat's trajectory, an anti-grounding alarm will automatically be triggered.

Optional Voyage Data Recorder Module

This new module that comes as an option, offers the possibility to save all the information received from the connected sensors to TZ Professional (GPS, radar, AIS, etc.). Maximize navigation security and your fishing potential by integrating TIMEZERO software with an Ethernet-based Furuno Sounder. The Furuno sounder models DFF1, DFF3, DFF1-UHD, BBDS1, or FCV1150 are natively compatible with TIMEZERO software and offer many functions that act as real aids to navigation and fishing, for both professional and recreational users.

Recreational users will appreciate the ability to display the sounder image directly on their computer screen and have full control of the sounder from their computer.

This hardware integration is critical to professional fishermen, allowing them to locate fish and save marks to the sounder image.

Features:

By adding the Furuno Sounder Plus Pack to TIMEZERO software*, the PC display is turned into a powerful, dual-frequency digital fish finder. The following FURUNO Ethernet Sounders models are natively compatible with TIMEZERO software: DFF1, DFF3, BBDS1, DFF1-UHD, or FCV1150.

• Enjoy full control of the Furuno sounder directly from the software, with a dedicated sounder Tool Bar in the User Interface
• Historic data: The user can scroll backwards to view sounder data received within the past 3 minutes (approximately) to identify interesting echoes
• Add a mark: By double-clicking on the sounder image, a mark will automatically be created at the corresponding point on the navigation chart, too
• Geolocation: By clicking the Event Tool in the Sounder workspace, a mark will be instantly created at the boat's current location

Historic Data

TIMEZERO stores the data received in the past 3 minutes (approximately). You can then easily go back and identify echoes that seem interesting.

Bottom Discrimination feature available with the FURUNO BBDS1 and DFF1-UHD only:

The bottom discrimination window can be displayed from the Sounder workspace. This information is helpful in spotting the rich fishing ground where you can boost your catch of the day.

Bottom components:

The BBDS1 and DFF1-UHD sounders classify the sea bottom into the following categories of sediment: mud, sand, gravel, and rock. This is achieved by analyzing echo characteristics from the bottom components such as particle size and hardness. In addition to providing the seabed information, they also display its level of certainty in relation to the type of sediment that is shown in your software. This information appears in the discrimination window and lets you know how reliable the data is in particular areas.

Bottom Component Localization:

Rolling the cursor over the bottom discrimination window will automatically display a _red cross_ cursor on the Chart allowing the user to geo-localize any bottom component.

Bottom Hardness:

As the BBDS1 and DFF1-UHD receive bottom hardness data, it is also possible to record this information within the software, along with the bottom depth. You can then display bottom hardness on your chart using a color spectrum, or just in black and white. These colors will indicate the softest bottom (mud) to the hardest bottom sediment (rock).

Connection of these sounder models is very simple - the compact network sounder unit connects directly to your PC via a single Ethernet cable.

(*)Without adding the Furuno Sounder Plus Pack to TIMEZERO software, you will only be able to share standard NMEA0183 or NMEA2000 digital depth data between the Sounder and TIMEZERO.

The DFF3D Sonar is the first entry level Multi-Beam Sonar able to reliably create PBG up to 200 meters. This data is sent directly to TZ Professional and used to create a highly detailed PBG map faster than ever before.

The DFF3D is a MultiBeam sonar. It allows you to use features such as Down Sounder, Port and Starboard Sounder, Real time wide angle A-Scope (Section), Fish Target History (Water Column) and Side Scan Sonar. The DFF3D can generate up to 50 depth points per second. To put this into perspective, 300 football fields can be covered in less than 20 minutes with the DFF3D!

TZ Professional (with the optional PBG and DFF3D modules) can be connected to the new Furuno DFF3D Multi Beam sonar. Creating your bathymetric (PBG) map becomes as fast as ever with TZ Professional. Multiple beams are constantly sent out by the sonar returning quality information for each depth point.
