Better Performances, Lower Absorption

The 4-blade Propellers guarantee maximum thrust performance and reduction in current absorption. They are made of composite materials, resistant in every condition. The counter-rotating system offers better thrust performances. The two props have been designed to suit left side and right side, to guarantee the same upper performances in both directions.

• The bronze propeller gearleg is provided with a hydrodynamic profile that minimizes turbulence.
• Maintenance is not required since the special highly resistant components guarantee a perfect lubrication seal for life.
• The anodic aluminum protection is easily replaceable. In case of total corrosion of the anode, the prop doesn’t get lost because it’s fixed directly to the pod, independently from the anode.
• The elastic joint that optimizes the alignment between motor and gearbox is an exclusive Quick design. This acts as an even tension device, preserving the operating system from impulses from the bow thruster, with above-average results.

The Motors

New-generation materials have been chosen to constantly guarantee required output and maximum performance, given the severe conditions required by the application.

Top Safety

In case of relays’ melting, the TMS remote circuit breaker system switch-off the power to the motor from any place where a TDC panels or a TSC emergency mushroom panels are installed. Motor temperature sensor BTQ motors don’t need the thermic sensor to be able to always provide the maximum power when needed. The overheating protection is controlled by the software inside the touch panel or the joystick panel.

RailMount NavPods are best used for mounting of an autopilot control, sailing instrument, or small chartplotter onto an existing pedestal guard. Fits onto any 1” or 1.25” diameter tube. A Stainless Steel arm is used to mount the NavPod housing. The NavPod can rotate 180 degrees for easy viewing while sitting under the dodger on a rainy day. All wiring runs from the NavPod, down the center of the stainless steel arm, and into the pedestal guard. This application provides a clean and sturdy installation for electronics, without replacement of the pedestal guard.

RailMounts are designed for all popular standard size instruments as well as 7 and 9 inch chartplotters.

Structural Rigidity – The Gen3 enhancements now include a thicker gauge acrylic capped ABS material that improves strength and provides better structural rigidity. This thicker material allows for a larger waterproof seal. The better the structural rigidity, the less flexing when tightening and more uniform pressure on the seal. The excellent UV stability of the acrylic is combined with the durability of the ABS. The acrylic cap protects the ABS from UV and its potentially damaging effects on plastic.

Waterproof Seal – All RailMount NavPods are manufactured with a double gasket system providing an excellent watertight seal. This seal provides the best protection of your Marine Electronics. NavPods are made to withstand the harshest wet offshore boating conditions. Gen3 enhancements include a thicker external silicone gasket with improved flush fit. The internal Poron Microcell Polyurethane gasket is now 50% thicker and is not subject to “compression set” like many rubber compounds. This is important when you need to open the NavPod in the future in order to service your electronics. The gasket will continue to do its job.

Nickel Chrome-Plated Stainless Steel – We use all 316 stainless steel hardware that is supplied with each NavPod. Large round-head tamper-resistant screws have deeper sockets for the NavPod wrench for better holding ability when tightening than screws used on our Traditional Series NavPod. The Nickel Chrome-Plated Stainless Steel tamper-resistant screws provide security combined with a little style!

The FATSAC Fat Seat Sac is designed to add a massive amount of weight to direct drive boats that have a removable rear seat.

The FATSAC Fat Seat Sac is designed for inboard boats that have a removable rear seat. The Fat Seat is huge and it's strong enough to sit and walk on.  It has two arms that extend forward on either side of the engine compartment to add even more weight to the stern of the boat.

Unlike the more versatile, but smaller Rear Seat Sac, the Fat Seat is designed for one location in direct drive boats, but it does deliver over 1,2500lbs. of wake shaping ballast.  Remember that it's important to weight the boat evenly to maintain proper handling and to get the best wake, so you'll definitely need to add some ballast to the front of the boat if you're going to use the Fat Seat Sac.
