BPS Marine BPS-8 8-Transducer Ultrasonic Antifouling System - 12VDC [BPS-8]
BPS-8 8-Transducer Ultrasonic Antifouling System - 12VDC
The BPS-8 is an eight-transducer system that can add antifouling protection to hulls, drives, rudders, stabilizers, and more. This single system can provide ultrasonic antifouling protection for hulls up to 80ft in length or can be combined with additional systems for larger vessels. The BPS-8 is also the perfect solution for vessels under 52' with inboards or sail drives to have one system covering the entire vessel.
The BPS-8 Package Includes:
- 1x BPS-8 Control Module with Integrated Power Cable
- 8x Submersible Ultrasonic Transducers with 15ft of Cable
- 4x Additional 15ft Extension Cables
- 2x Epoxy Kits
- 1x Printed Installation and Operation Manual
Specifications:
- Voltage: 12V or 24V DC
- Average Power Draw: 2Ah
- Transducer Strength: 60W
- Cable Length: 15ft per transducer
- Frequency: Multi-frequency ultrasonic sweep algorithm (20kHz-42kHz)
Installation Overview:
- No Thru-Hulls: The transducers are installed directly on top of your hull surface using the provided epoxy.
- Install Signal Cable: Each transducer has 15ft of connected signal cable. This ensures an easy installation from the transducer to the controller.
- Mounting the Controller: The BPS-1 Controller runs off of your boat's existing house battery. It is a simple 2-wire connection the the battery bank or distribution panel.
- Enjoy Worry-Free Boating: That's it! Your BPS system is done! Let our advanced antifouling protection do its job. Each system is programmed with a multi-frequency sweeping algorithm to ensure that your boat has the best antifouling protection on the market.
How the Technology Works:
- The Mechanism: The system emits high-frequency ultrasonic waves through the hull & drives, creating a microscopic barrier of resonance.
- Targeting the Root Cause: These ultrasound waves repel biofouling from attaching to your hull before they ever have the chance to attach.
- Eco-Friendly: 100% chemical-free. It does not leach pollutants into the water, making it safe for marinas with strict environmental regulations.
- Marine Life Safe: The frequencies used are outside the hearing range of marine mammals and humans.
Benefits:
- Fuel Efficiency: A clean hull creates less drag. Maintaining hull smoothness ensures you get the best possible MPG and top speed.
- Reduced Maintenance Costs: Significantly extends the life of your bottom paint and reduces the frequency of expensive haul-outs.
- Diver Savings: Reduces the need for monthly hull cleaning services.
- Hard-to-Reach Protection: Unlike paint, ultrasonic waves resonate through complex parts that are difficult to paint and clean, such as stern drives, sea strainers, and rudders.
- Fit & Forget: Once installed, the system runs automatically with zero scheduled maintenance required.
200WX Ultrasonic Weather Station
the 200WX Ultrasonic Weather Station detects instantaneous changes in the weather, offering continuous operation even in adverse weather conditions. This all-in-one weather sensor measures apparent and true wind speed, and direction, air temperature and wind chill temperature. The 200WX also incorporates a 3-Axis solid-state compass and 3-Axis Rate Gyro for best-in-class compass and pitch/roll accuracy.
The 200WX supports both CanBUS/NMEA2000® and NMEA 0183 and incorporates an NMEA 2000® port, and can be directly connected to a NavNet TZtouch/TZtouch2/TZtouch3. Power for the 200WX is supplied from an NMEA 2000® bus. This unique feature allows for flexible installation of multiple NMEA 2000® sensors without the need to run cables all the way to the main processor unit. NMEA 2000® data is converted and distributed throughout the network.
Standard 1" mount accommodates existing mounted hardware. The UV stabilized, compact housing is fully waterproof and resistant to both chemicals and sunlight.
Comes with 6m Drop Cable NMEA 2000
